Mark began an apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery after leaving school in 1975. Working with glass, and discovering leadlighting, opened a different creative path.

In May 1981 he started his own business as Mark’s Glass and Leadlights. The studio moved to Hinds Street in 1983, and the business became Glazit in 1995.

Still a conversation between maker and customer.

Glazit combines glass replacement and practical glazing with decorative leadlight work, repairs and teaching. You can bring a defined design or simply an idea to talk through with Mark.
